What Material Does

Cashmere offers softness without unnecessary weight. Alpaca brings warmth and body. Wool provides structure and resilience. Fur introduces depth, movement and natural insulation. Understanding these qualities allows the material to guide the design rather than simply decorate it.
The Nature of Contrast
Pelliarts is drawn to the meeting of textures: fluid fabric against full fur, softness beside structure, matte fibres paired with natural lustre. At times the contrast can be bold. At others, it appears through subtle shifts in tone, texture and depth.
These relationships keep a piece visually alive and help shape its silhouette, proportion and final expression that was inspired from the beginning.
