Care

This piece is made with genuine fox fur and a velvet-covered headband. Do not wash, machine wash, tumble dry, or dry clean in a standard cleaning process. For cleaning, take to a professional fur specialist or cleaner experienced with natural fur accessories.

Avoid heavy rain, prolonged moisture, direct heat, humidity, and extended exposure to sunlight. If the fur becomes lightly damp, gently shake off excess moisture and allow it to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from heaters or direct sun.

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Do not compress the fur for long periods, as this may flatten the natural volume. Store flat or gently placed in a breathable bag or box with enough room to protect the fur and headband shape.

For regular wear, lightly shake the fur to refresh its volume and allow the earmuffs to breathe between uses. Do not steam, iron, or apply direct heat to the fur or velvet headband.

Natural Variation

Crafted from natural materials, each piece may vary slightly in tone, texture, grain, and fur density — making every piece uniquely its own. Subtle differences in fur direction, sheen, and color depth are natural characteristics of genuine fur and luxury fabrics, not defects. Product colors are photographed as accurately as possible, though they may appear slightly different depending on lighting and screen settings.

Headwear

To determine the correct size, measure the circumference of your head just above the ears and across the forehead.

Natural materials such as leather and fur benefit from a small amount of ease in fit for comfort during wear.

Headwear Size Guide

This guide provides general sizing guidance for Pelliarts trapper hats. Fit may vary slightly depending on the style, structure, lining, and the natural characteristics of the materials used.

How to measure: Wrap a soft measuring tape around the widest part of your head, just above the eyebrows and ears. Keep the tape level and comfortably snug, without pulling it tight.

Fit & natural variation: Our trapper hats are made with natural materials, so slight variations in thickness, loft, lining, and overall fit are normal. A small amount of ease is desirable for comfortable winter wear — the hat should feel secure without excessive pressure around the head.
