The lamb leather cap provides a smooth, supple exterior with a clean structured look, while the fox fur adds warmth, softness, and a plush luxurious presence. Fox fur is known for its airy loft and dramatic natural texture, giving the hat a fuller, more expressive finish.

The ear flaps are lined with fox fur on the inside for added insulation and comfort, with a lamb leather outer shell for durability and structure. Lamb leather tie strings at the base of the flaps allow the hat to be secured under the chin or styled open depending on the weather and preference.

The interior is lined with Thinsulate for added warmth without unnecessary bulk, making this hat especially well suited for very cold winter conditions.

Lamb leather cap with 100% fox fur trim, varying by selected variation, including red fox, blue fox, silver fox, or dyed fox.

Finished with lamb leather tie-down strings and a Thinsulate™ 100% polyester lining for warmth, insulation, and breathability.

Care

This piece is made from genuine natural fur and lamb leather and should be handled with care. Do not wash, machine wash, or tumble dry. For cleaning, take to a professional fur specialist or cleaner experienced with both natural fur and leather.

Avoid heavy rain, prolonged moisture, direct heat, humidity, and extended exposure to sunlight. If the hat becomes lightly damp, gently shake off excess moisture from the fur and allow it to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from heaters or direct sun. Do not use heat to dry the leather cap.

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Do not compress for long periods, as this may flatten the fur or affect the shape of the leather. For regular wear, lightly shake the hat to refresh the fur and allow it to breathe between uses. Keep the leather cap and tie strings away from prolonged moisture, and avoid pulling or twisting the tie strings excessively.

Crafted from natural fur and lamb leather, each piece may show slight variations in tone, texture, leather grain, and fur density — natural characteristics that make every piece uniquely its own.

This guide provides general sizing guidance for Pelliarts trapper hats. Fit may vary slightly depending on the style, structure, lining, and the natural characteristics of the materials used.

How to measure: Wrap a soft measuring tape around the widest part of your head, just above the eyebrows and ears. Keep the tape level and comfortably snug, without pulling it tight.

Fit & natural variation: Our trapper hats are made with natural materials, so slight variations in thickness, loft, lining, and overall fit are normal. A small amount of ease is desirable for comfortable winter wear — the hat should feel secure without excessive pressure around the head.
